ABnet is home to the Abilita Rehabilitation Index. This is an assessment that identifies the extent to which individual and work-related psychosocial factors are likely to impede rehabilitation following injury. It describes key factors, particularly those that are amenable to change and therefore important in planning for successful intervention in a work rehabilitation program.

This assessment is one component of the Abilita Program, which is a structured rehabilitation approach to enable employers and rehabilitation providers to implement action focused on assisting injured workers to develop the self-management skills to reduce the impact of injury, persistent pain and distress and thereby regain quality of life including optimal work capacity.
