About ABnet

ABnet is home to the Abilita Rehabilitation Index The Abilita Rehabilitation Index is an assessment that identifies the extent to which individual and work-related psychosocial factors are likely to impede rehabilitation following a musculoskeletal injury. It describes key factors, particularly those that are amenable to change and therefore important in planning for successful intervention in a work rehabilitation program.

This assessment is one component of the Abilita Program, which is a rehabilitation system designed to enable employers and rehabilitation providers to implement action focusing on assisting injured workers to develop the self-management skills to reduce the impact of injury and persistent pain and thereby regain quality of life including optimal work capacity.
